Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark in the small screen. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 in 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas to pursue the field of physical therapy with the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas into Orlando, Florida and performed in various performances. They included local independent films, as well as world-wide commercials. It was there that she discovered her passion to perform even in small roles. In 2001, she emigrated in New York where her first appearance was on the All My Children's morning soap opera as Rosa Santos. Her roles were sporadic on JAG The Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004 she was selected as her first part of a series in The Mountain The Mountain, which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza played Maria Serrano and was paired with the best TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. In 2006, she was A.D.A. on Law & Order. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. She then migrated to the brief, but short-lived spinoff Law & Order: LA. Her character was a hit and earned De La Garza various nominations like Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is an award for the best performances in an upcoming drama series. De La Garza was then assigned as a regular role on CSI Miami. The role was Marisol Delko as the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. Her most recent work on TV was on NBC's more dark dramatic Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC following only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is born of Italian descent and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Milano was born into an extremely religious and conservative family. Milano's first professional experience began at seven after her child's sitter took for an audition. Of more than a thousand applicants her name was picked among only four. Milano has been featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and her role in the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
